The Oil and Gas
division of the Genecov Group is responsible
for the management of the mineral and
leasehold ownership of the various oil and gas
limited partnerships owned by the Genecov
family. The majority of the partnerships'
assets are located in the state of Texas.
The Genecov Group continues
to remain active in its efforts to explore for
oil and gas. While our primary oil and
gas focus in in the East Texas Basin, we have
recently acquired interests in Illinois,
Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
Our long-term growth is
dependent on our ability to replenish reserves
at reasonable costs and manage our existing
assets in a cost conscious manner. In spite of
current industry conditions, the Genecov Group
believes there will continue to be growth
opportunities for companies of all sizes with
superior physical, technical, financial, and
personnel resources.
